Finding Myself

we-lose-ourselves-in-the-things-we-love-1024x1024

I guess I should start off with an apology. It’s been well over a month since my last post. In the last couple of weeks I’ve experienced some major unforeseen changes. Changes that I’m still upset about today. However, it’s been almost a month so I guess it’s time to start moving on, and figuring out who I am on my own.

With that being said, I have decided to make this summer all about me. I’ve come to realize that there’s so much to do in Nova Scotia, and I’ve done close to none of it. While I am working two jobs throughout the summer I will have very little time to myself, however that’s not going to stop me from doing what I want to do.

For instance, this coming weekend I am going on a 16km hike to Cape Split. This is something I’ve never done before, and I am very excited to do it. I’m excited to get away from the city, and electronics. I’m excited to just be on my own, and catch up with two friends from high school.

Here’s a list of other things I’d like to do in Nova Scotia this summer:

  • Mud Sliding
  • Tidal Bore Rafting
  • Visit Peggy’s Cove
  • Go paddle boarding
  • Get back into photography
  • Go to the beach at night to take pictures of the sunset
  • Go camping
  • Spend as much time with my friends as possible.
  • Get in shape

As I mentioned above, I’m going through a lot of changes in my life right now. It’s time for me to figure out who I am and have as much fun as possible while doing it.

I don’t know if these changes are permanent, or if they’re temporary. I don’t know what the future holds. I just know that I am twenty-years old and I have no idea who I am. It’s time for me to figure that out, and figure out what makes me happy.

I promise to post more often, and I ask you to follow me along in finding myself.
